I’ve just tried my first every homebrew, which I’ve called Rucker’s Folly, and I can definitely confirm that it tastes like beer of some sort. It’s a bit weak and has quite a strong bitter hops finish without much body but it’s alcoholic, drinkable and carbonated so I consider that a victory in itselt. I made it from scratch using only malted grain, hops, yeast and water so I could learn about how it all works and I’m just glad it turned out at all.
